Hawkwind Milestone

We just got back the result on the Samoyed Club of America's 2008 Winner's Bitch (means she beat all the non champion girls in the nation...well, most of the best internationally as well) OFA hip result.

Hawkwind's Silver Star Garnet is OFA Excellent.

She is the 15th OFA Excellent we have bred. 30 dogs of our kennel have been checked. So of all the dog's done, we are now at 50% OFA excellent with NO case of hip dysplasia....ever.

It is a record we are very proud of!! Merry Christmas to all and continued health for all Samoyeds!

Storm wins today

In MN Storm wins for his 4th show in a row, racking up both majors and 9 points in 2 weekends of showing....not bad! Congrats to owners Angela and Ryan Piner!

Storm is Winner's Dog

Hawkwind's Garnet Storm went to St. Cloud today and he won again....3 for 3, meaning 3 times in the show ring and 3 times he won. Not bad for a rookie!

Chi wins another leg

Ch Hawkwind's Dreams of Malachite PT HT HCT JHD TDI OAJ NA WS took another leg in Novice Fast, an agility run! Congrats to owner,Jennifer Sullivan! What a great job for both of you!

Nova is Reserve Winner's

Hawkwind's Ruby SuperNova was RWB at her first real show! Congrats to her owner, Heather LoProto!

Nova is a Summit daughter, and her mom is Onyx!

Storm and Abbi take points in Nebraska

Storm takes a second major! Wow! He just loved being in the ring, but then he loves lots of things! Now we'll send him back home and with Garnet to enjoy the snow and hopefully some ski jouring soon!

Abbi, Hawkwind's Arctic Peridot, sparkled her way to Winner's Bitch. She was only entered Sunday, and it was great to see her!

"take em by Storm..."

Since Garnet won Winner's Bitch at the national, we thought it might be time to take her brother out. He did great, taking a major right out of the gate! 'Storm' is Hawkwind's Garnet Storm, son of Lightning and Aster.

We're still grading the 3 lovely girls from Aster's second (and last) litter.
